This is Hasina and I at Newport beach, Oregon. I have had Hasina for 5 years and she is 7 years old. There are days I still can't believe that i have her. I have never been a Dog lover but I can tell you I love her very much and I am not sure what I will do when it comes time to retire her. Something happened to me when I was a baby that has made me afriad of Dogs. She has helped me so much she has made me feel better about myself if that is even possible. She is my life line. People never really would come up to me but now I have her people only want to talk about her but at least they will come up to me. I am so thankful to God that i have her.

Hello! Guess what. My mom is legally blind too. She has RP (a degenerative condition). We just found out about it about four years ago. While it was a shock, it was also a relief since she had been having unexplainable problems all her life because of it that were suddenly explainable. The positive side is that even though she's legally blind and needs a cane to get around, she still has enough center vision to be able to read, etc.
So, even though I'm not blind, I feel a connection with you. You know?
Do you have a degenerative condition too? I'm glad that you have a dog. Dogs can help a lot.

Thank you for your kind comment. No I do not have Degenerative Condititon. The condition I have is Optic Nerve Damage. The wiring is my brain is damaged. I do not have enough vision to get around or even read. I need help with these.
